ORGANIZATION AND CLEAN SPACE
Besides clean house and bathroom will make your ritual more comfortable, you will minimize household chores during workweek.
PREPARE YOUR TOOLS AND GET INTO COMFY MOOD
Get natural fiber towels (Everyday Needs offers impressive selection), clean compress and body brush. Also, this is perfect occasion for lounge clothing (we suggest wonderful cotton shirts from The Sleep Shirt) and relaxing music (try this).
PREPARE YOUR HERBS
For scent: Let’s start with our ritual by doing a ritual. Prepare an oil burner and favorite essential oil. Or if you want a true ritual, do your own smudge stick. Smudge sticks are easy to do herb branches that are burnt for spiritual cleaning. Our favorite combination is mix of cedar, sage, rosemary, lavender and rose buds.
For bath: Combine Himalayan or Epsom salt (if you need a real detox) with rose petals, crushed cardamom and dried herbs of your choice. Before bath it would be excellent to do dry brushing (always brush towards the heart). Don’t forget to make yourself soothing cup of tea.
APOTHECARY AFTER THE BATH
Skin: We highly recommend simple, homemade recipes from Beauty Chef. Start with this amazing coffee body peeling. For face cleaning we suggest honey, soymilk and ginger face compress, and after that this white clay mask.
Hair: In the meantime, prepare your hair for the autumnal days by hydrating it. Sachajuan hair conditioner is the real thing. If you hair is damaged by coloring or sun exposure, do a miracle mayo treatment; mix half cup of mayonnaise (at room temperature), 1 egg yolk and 2 T of olive oil. Wrap your hair in the shower cap and towel, shampoo well and rinse after 20 minutes.
