Michael Verheyden Design Objects

Belgian designer Michael Verheyden creates the uncommon design objects made for common daily rituals. His refined and functional products combine the serene and clean forms, durable materials and exquisite craftsmanship. The aesthetic, referencing quiet and subtle luxury, embodies the philosophy of simplicity.

Michael Verheyden products are designed and crafted in his Genk workshop, that he shares with his wife Saartje Vereecke. Vehayden prefers to work with noble and durable materials that feel natural and age beautifully, such as marble, leather, bronze and oak. Besides giving a human touch to the objects, his philosophy involves the knowledge and understanding of the material. Therefore, the design of these simple and minimalist objects often materializes as an ode to the natural beauty of materials used for their creation.
