Casa No Tempo is a serene and minimalist retreat located in peaceful Alentejo region of Portugal, known for its unspoilt and beautiful vast golden plains. This farmhouse inherited by brothers João and Andreia Rodrigues has been in the family for many years and it was renovated a while ago under the orientation of family friend – architect Manuel Aires Mateus. The main quest was to open the house to the vastness of the property so it could welcome the gifts of nature through the magnificent arch on the entrance and large windows in every room. The landscape is also in the harmony with the interior of the minimalist 4-bedroom holiday house where local furniture and flooring made of clay bocks are beautiful addition to modern bedding, white sofas and details.
This minimalist retreat surrounded by one thousand acres of cork trees, pastures, wild fields, two dams, five ponds, streams and brooks invites guests to explore and unite with the nature. Apart from fishing, horse riding and cycling visitors can also appreciate the stills of the daily farm life that is in charge of producing homemade honey, goat cheese, organic meat and eggs, olive oil, cork, jams and vegetables. Another modern addition that is in perfect harmony with nature is the vast swimming pool made in sand plaster. Here, by the pool, you can unite with nature by simply doing nothing while relaxing on the comfy daybeds by Living Divanni under parasols made of old sets of sails.
