While we are eagerly waiting for the new collection from Muku, Lithuanian handmade label, we would like to reminisce on some of our favorite moments from their past collections. Although we firmly believe it’s slightly inappropriate to use word past when referring to collections of Muku since they produce timeless designs that will always have contemporary appearance.
Founded in 2009, in the times when slow fashion movement was experiencing its brightest moment, Muku constantly seeks balance between form and function. The special thing about Muku’s lovely handmade garments is that they are crafted from natural Lithuanian linen that’s mechanically woven in one of the oldest factories in the world. The muse of the brand is 5-year-old Agota, daughter of the designers Dovilė and Mindaugas who see quality and freedom of the movement as the most important characteristic of clothing. Currently Muku has womenswear and kidswear line, and all the items from past collections are available in their online shop at affordable prices.
