Office + Apartment in Antwerp

October 12, 2015

Hans-Verstuyft-Antwerp-Residence-and-Office
This minimalistic two story residence located in Antwerp is designed by Hans Verstuyft Architects. Architects converted two top floors of 1960s office building into the spacious penthouse that serves as office space and apartment. Both workspace and dwelling area speak the language of quiet luxury that is created with practical but refined furniture pieces and details. With interior walls that are wrapped around spacious patio garden, penthouse is open to this piece of nature on the inside, while windows are keeping it in connection with the city’s daily life. On the top of the penthouse is a rooftop pool that seems to be aligned with beautiful skyline of Antwerp.

Hans Verstuyft studio was founded in 1992. Their work is based on the specific conditions each project has and as architects are interested in creating projects that will last and inspire its users. Guided by the sober aesthetic and reduction in designing process, they believe that sober way of thinking has a strong appearance. We couldn’t agree more!
