Michael Anastassiades’s work is positioned somewhere between fine art and design with the aim to provoke dialogue, participation and interaction. His works are part of permanent collections at famous museums while behind designer are collaborations with world’s leading architectural/ design studios and his designs embellished prominent hotels, restaurants and stores worldwide.

Michael Anastassiades founded his London-based studio in 1994 with a vision to explore the concepts of contemporary culture and aesthetics through product, furniture and environmental design. Designer is particularly renowned for his lighting designs so we dare to call him a man of light in contemporary age. His lighting fixtures are utility objects that with their minimalistic aesthetic unpretentiously adjust to space while their quality brings the air of sophisticated luxury. Since Michael Anastassiades seriously won our hearts with Tube Chandelier and brilliant String Lights for Flos that are inspired by electricity wires, we decided to look to the past and the present of designer’s work;
