SP34 is newly renovated boutique hotel situated in the bohemian Latin Quarter, a neighbourhood in the centre of Copenhagen. Once called Hotel Fox, refurbished SP34 under the Brøchner Group has 118 rooms, two restaurants, two bars, gym, private cinema, conference center and it’s furnished with respect for the original architecture. The modern and simple place designed by architect/designer Morten Hedegaard arrives as the last puzzle in its vivid neighborhood by completely reflecting the physical environment and atmosphere of its surrounding.
Relaxed design approach in minimalist Scandavian style with occasional voyage to mid-century design created a cozy and fresh space. Molded dark wooden furniture with caramel leather details and upholstery gave hint of warmth while details as industrial grey walls and minimalistic lighting delivered a fresh vibe to the space. We especially love how the wood and the leather are wonderful contrast to white linen bedding in the rooms and soft golden light that comes from lamps that are custom made by Swedish company RUBN. And how darling is the black bicycle as wall installation in lofty lounge area and that witty mural in café that serves as a conversation starter.
