Winter in Kaisaniemi

Kaisaniemi-Botanic-Garden
Kaisaniemi Botanical Garden in Helsinki is a great example of brilliant man-made intervention in the salutation of nature. The most appropriate time to enjoy full blooms of the nature is definitely the springtime, but curious as we are we like to see things in a bit different light.
Thanks to Helsinki-based artist Polly Balitro, we managed to find out what visually happens during the wintertime in one of our favorite places on the planet Earth. Polly, whose dearest way of expression is analogue photography of places and landscapes spent two days wandering around architecturally and botanically astonishing conservatory. And she truly managed to arouse a moment of admiration by transmitting this serene scenery from Kaisaniemi to us. We are now closing our eyes and keeping this magical alliance of frozen landscape and greenery in our minds.
